SG I AFRICAN TRANSPORT GOLF GETAWAY

The objective of this event is to provide the directors and management of SG I african transport with the opportunity to engage with their VIP clients and suppliers in a relaxed, yet premium setting for 3 days. The guests fly in from different parts of SA and Zimbabwe and Interlock were tasked to co-ordinate all travel, transfers and accommodation and take care of all event logistics – enabling the client to focus on their core business – their own customers!

Interlock's solution

Interlock have had the pleasure of working on this event for over 15 years and have developed a close relationship with many of the core group of guests who attend each time. Hence, as an event company, we have an inherent understanding for the company culture, its customers and what is required for a successful event. Clear, consistent communication is essential when co-ordinating travel plans so Interlock place great emphasis on this area. The customised online RSVP portal, backed up by personal calls and reminders sets the tone for an event that is focussed on the smaller details.

Previous events have featured golf and dinner at Fancourt Links, even dinner on the "beach" at Sun City. The 2019 event took place in the Cape Winelands at Pearl Valley where guests enjoyed an evening at the wonderful Avondale wine estate, complete with a tasting in the cellar.
